Welcome to a new edition of the InTheMarket newsletter! There are exciting news and developments in the world of DeFiChain. Let's get started right away!
DeFiChain Domains -Introducing Web3-Domains
In another project built on DeFiMetaChain, we have the introduction of DeFiChain Domains. This innovative project allows you to give your otherwise long and hard to remember wallet addresses, a memorable name.
In a recent blog post, the DeFiChain Domains team gave a brief introduction to the key components of Web3 domains: the registrant, the controller, and the resolver.
Registrant: this is you once you have purchased your domain. As the registrant, or owner of a registered domain, you can transfer the registration, set the controller, and reclaim ownership of the name in the registry if needed.
Controller: The user who has control over the domain. This does not necessarily have to be the registrant. A registrant can transfer control to another user. It is important to note that the controller can be changed by the registrant as well as the controller itself.
Resolver: A resolver is a contract that provides the mapping between a DeFiChain address and a .dfi domain name. When you enter an address or username in your browser or wallet, the resolver returns the corresponding DeFiChain address. The resolver contract is provided by the domain name owner and can be updated to change the mapping. In other words, the resolver stores the name-to-record mapping. So you set your domain to point to the actual wallet address.
The DeFiChain Domains team is working on full integration with your preferred wallet. Once this is complete, you'll be able to transfer funds with your domain!

Unleashed - A new project on OpenDApps Cloud and DeFiMetaChain
Another exciting project is taking shape on the DeFiMetaChain: Unleashed. This project, which is built on the OpenDApps Cloud, was recently featured on the DeFiChain News Show.
Here are some highlights of the project:
Decentralized, equity-based company: Unleashed will be designed as a decentralized, share-based enterprise and implemented using OpenDApps Cloud solutions. This will automate business processes and financial transactions entirely on the blockchain.
Focus on wide availability: the team behind Unleashed is focused on creating products and services that are widely available in the traditional market but not yet available to fully decentralized businesses. To do this, they are focusing on a traditional user experience, but delivered through a decentralized OpenDApps Cloud subscription model.
WebPages as an example: one planned product is WebPages, a cloud website builder with a traditional user experience, but where subscription payments are made on the blockchain.
Unleashed has two main goals:
To allow decentralized entities to access widely available products that are currently only available through traditional financial subscriptions.
To open the door for traditional businesses to offer the same simplicity in user experience, but with decentralized subscriptions.
More information is expected to be made available by the end of the month and a prototype of the project is expected to go live on the #DMC testnet.
Unleashed is already a decentralized unit in the #DMC testnet. Stay tuned to see what else Unleashed has in store for the future. 👀

New Episode of "InTheMarket" with Lars Berge
A new episode of my podcast "InTheMarket" is now available! In this episode, we dive deep into a conversation with Lars Berge (@LarsBerge6), a key developer in the DeFiChain community and the creative mind behind the DeFi-Bets project.

New DeFiChain wallet "Bison" coming this summer
The new Bison Wallet is on its way and will go live this summer! With this wallet you will be able to use many exciting and user-friendly features:
You can have multiple wallets in the same app at the same time.
Your wallets can be secured by PassKeys. This way you don't have to write down a SeedPhrase anymore.
You can store your wallet on a HardwareKey.
You can monitor and manage your masternodes.
Some in the community have asked the question, "What about the principle of 'Not your keys, not your coins'?"
The answer is: you are still the only one who holds your keys while using PassKeys. You can decode your keys into the 24-word scheme if you wish. No one but you has access to the keys!
→ PassKeys are simply put the next evolution of the old scheme. They are more secure and easier to use!
In addition, the Bison wallet will be the first DeFiChain wallet to allow anyone to chain multiple transactions easily! You won't have to wait for transactions to be processed, you can just set up and go. For example, for chaining:
DFI -> UTXO -> dETH
DFI -> DUSD -> DFI/DUSD LM
(This feature will be released in one of the first updates. It will not yet be available in the very first beta release).
Look forward to the new Bison wallet, which makes handling DeFiChain even easier and more secure!
